‘A Court of Thorns and Roses’ Series Still in Development at Hulu

In 2021, Hulu announced it was working on a series adaptation based on Sarah J. Maas’ popular fantasy book series A Court of Thorns and Roses (abbreviated as ACOTAR).   Outlander’s Ronald D. Moore is developing the project but we have heard little about the show since then.

In a recent interview with TV Line, Moore confirmed that the adaptation was still in development at Hulu saying,  “It’s still in development. We’ve written some scripts, and we’re just sort of waiting. I think the whole town is kind of waiting to see if we have actors before things really move forward, but it’s still in development.”

ACOTAR centers on Feyre, a huntress who kills a wolf and finds herself in a magical land she never thought possible. Additional books in the immensely popular series include A Court of Mist and FuryA Court of Wings and Ruin, the novella A Court of Frost and Starlight and A Court of Silver Flames.

No Casting announcements have been made for the show yet.
