ABC Audio has released “The Arraignment,” a second pre-launch episode of “The King Road Killings: An Idaho Murder Mystery,” ahead of the podcast series debut on Wednesday, June 7.
Bryan Kohberger, who was indicted for the murders of four Idaho college students, appeared in a Moscow, Idaho, courtroom this morning for his arraignment. Series host ABC News correspondent Kayna Whitworth reports from the courthouse where Kohberger and his lawyer chose to stand silent after acknowledging the charges, and the judge entered a plea of not guilty. “The Arraignment” gives a detailed account, putting the events of the day into the larger context of the crimes, including pool tape from the courtroom, reactions before and after the arraignment, and on-the-ground reporting from the courthouse.
The first two “The King Road Killings” episodes — “The Arraignment” (released 5/22) and “Idaho College Murders Suspect Indicted by Grand Jury” (released 5/17) — and trailer are now available for free on all major listening platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, iHeartRadio, Pandora, Stitcher, TuneIn, Audacy and the ABC News app.
“The King Road Killings” is produced by ABC Audio. Laura Mayer is executive producer. The series currently ranks #12 on Apple Podcasts.
