‘Agatha: Coven of Chaos’ Disney+ Series Gets New Release Window

Marvel’s Disney+ Original series “Agatha: Coven of Chaos” has been in production for several months now and was originally announced to premiere in winter 2023, or possibly very early 2024.  According to a new report, it looks like the WandaVision spinoff will indeed debut sometime in 2024.  The news was revealed in a new article from Variety.

“Agatha: Coven of Chaos” will star Kathryn Hahn as her character from WandaVision.

Not many other details are known about the project however fellow WandaVision stars will reportedly be returning for the series, Emma Caulfield, who played Sarah Proctor, aka Dottie Jones, and Debra Jo Rupp (That ’70s Show, That ’90s Show) who played Mrs. Hart have been confirmed to appear in the upcoming series.   Joe Locke will reportedly star in the series along with Aubrey Plaza. (The White Lotus). Sasheer Zamata (Saturday Night Live), and Eric André have been cast in unknown roles.  Additionally, Ali Ahn (Raising Dion). Maria Dizzia (The Staircase), and Patti LuPone will reportedly play witches in the upcoming series.

According to THR, Jac Schaeffer, who is serving as head writer and executive producer on the show, has stepped up to act as a director of multiple episodes. Joining her are Gandja Monteiro (Wednesday), as well as Rachel Goldberg, (Resident Evil).

The outlet also reports David Payton, David Lengel, Asif Ali, Amos Glick, Brian Brightman, and Kate Forbes, all of whom appeared on WandaVision, are returning for the spinoff.

The series is currently filming in Atlanta and is working under the title of “My Pretty.”

Marvel’s “Agatha: Coven of Chaos” will reportedly consist of 9 episodes and is scheduled to release on Disney+ in 2024.
