‘Alien: Romulus’ Film Adds 4 More To Cast

David Jonsson (Industry), Archie Renaux (Shadow and Bone), Spike Fearn (Aftersun) and newcomer Aileen Wu have boarded the cast of 20th Century Studios’ new Alien movie with the working title “Alien: Romulus.

In the new film, the iconic ferocious race of alien beings called Xenomorphs will be front and center, again reigning terror against the humans that cross their paths.

Previous announced cast includes Cailee Spaeny and Isabela Merced.

Fede Alvarez (Don’t Breathe) is directing the project with Scott Free producing.  The script was written by written with Rodo Sayagues.

The original Alien‘s director and producer Ridley Scott will produce alongside Michael Pruss (Boston Strangler) for Scott Free, with Brent O’Connor (Bullet Train), Elizabeth Cantillon (Persuasion) and Tom Moran (The Donut King) serving as EPs.

According to The Ronin, cinematographer Galo Olivares has boarded the project.  Olivares has previously worked on Gretel & Hansel along with being part of the camera team on the Oscar-winning drama Roma from Mexican director Alfonso Cuarón.

Filming on the project is expected to begin on March 9th in Budapest, Hungary.

A release date for the film has not been announced yet.
