January 2023 is set to be another month jammed-packed with original content that will be coming to Disney+ globally.
Highlights include the premieres of “Star Wars: The Bad Batch” Season 2 and the Original series “Chasing Waves.”
New episodes continue to release for the Disney+ Original Series “National Treasure: Edge of History” and Lucasfilm’s Original series “Willow” leading up to the finale on the 11th and more.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch – Season 2
When the new season opens, months have passed since the events on Kamino, and the Bad Batch continues their journey navigating the Empire after the fall of the Republic. They will cross paths with friends and foes, both new and familiar, as they take on a variety of thrilling mercenary missions that will take them to unexpected and dangerous new places.
“Star Wars: The Bad Batch” season 2 stars Emmy Award® nominee Dee Bradley Baker (“American Dad!”) as the voice of the Bad Batch and Emmy Award® nominee Michelle Ang (“Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462”) as the voice of Omega. Emmy Award® winner Rhea Perlman (“The Mindy Project,” “Cheers”) returns to guest star as Cid, Noshir Dalal (“It’s Pony,” “The Owl House”) returns to guest star as Vice Admiral Rampart and Emmy Award® winner Wanda Sykes (“The Upshaws,” “Black-ish”) makes her guest starring debut in the series as Phee Genoa.
“The Bad Batch” Season 2 premieres with two episodes on January 4, 2023. New episodes will release on January 11, 18, and 25th.
National Treasure: Edge of History
Jess Valenzuela’s life is turned upside down when an enigmatic stranger gives her a clue to a centuries-old treasure that might be connected to her long-dead father. Jess has a knack for solving puzzles, and her skills are put to the test as she and her friends follow a series of clues hidden in American artifacts and landmarks. The Disney+ Original series, “National Treasure: Edge of History” is an expansion of the “National Treasure” movie franchise. Jerry Bruckheimer, Cormac & Marianne Wibberley, Jonathan Littman and KristieAnne Reed serve as executive producers on the series alongside Rick Muirragui, who also serves as a writer. Jon Turteltaub is also an executive producer. Mira Nair is directing and executive producing.
