In “Big Sky” Season 3 titled “Deadly Trails,” private detective Cassie Dewell (Kylie Bunbury), undersheriff Jenny Hoyt, and newly appointed sheriff Beau Arlen (Jensen Ackles) maintain order in Helena, Montana. But when a local backcountry trip led by charismatic outfitter Sunny Barnes (fka Sunny Brick) (Reba McEntire) goes awry, the trio face their most formidable mystery yet – in which no camper can be trusted and where danger lurks around every jagged rock and gnarled tree.
The series stars Katheryn Winnick as Jenny Hoyt, Kylie Bunbury as Cassie Dewell, Brian Geraghty as Ronald Pergman, Dedee Pfeiffer as Denise Brisbane, Omar Metwally as Mark Lindor, Anja Savcic as Scarlet Leyendecker and Janina Gavankar as Ren. Jamie-Lynn Sigler has also been upped to series regular for Season 3. She had a recurring role in Season 2 as Tonya.
Luke Mitchell (Blindspot), Seth Gabel (Salem), Henry Ian Cusick (Lost), Anirudh Pisharody (9-1-1) and Madalyn Horcher (Gracepoint) recently joined the cast in recurring roles as well as Rex Linn (Young Sheldon, Better Call Saul). In addition, J. Anthony Pena who plays Deputy Mo Poppernak, has been upped to series regular for the upcoming third season.
They join previously announced cast for Season 3 Reba McEntire and Jensen Ackles (Supernatural).
