“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’s” filming has reportedly being been delayed again due to a surge of COVID-19 cases on the Atlanta set. Earlier this month, it was revealed that production was ready to start back up again after a temporary pause while Letitia Wright recovered from an injury that took place on the set back in August.
According to THR, Black Panther restarted production last week in Atlanta, only to get delayed because several cast and crew members including Lupita Nyong’o tested positive for the virus (production was set to restart this week).
“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” is directed by Ryan Coogler. Previous cast confirmed to return include Lupita Nyong’o, Letitia Wright, Martin Freeman, Angela Bassett, Winston Duke, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya and Florence Kasumba.
“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” is scheduled to release in theaters on November 11, 2022.
