Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” has finally wrapped filming. The news comes from crew members who posted reports on social media.
Costume designer Ruth E. Carter was one of the first to reveal the news in a post that has been since taken down. Hairstylist Nikki Wright also shared that filming on the project had concluded.
Filming on the Black Panther sequel began last summer and endured some delays, mainly due to a temporary pause in production while Letitia Wright recovered from an injury that took place on the set back in August.
“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” is directed by Ryan Coogler. Previous cast confirmed to return include Lupita Nyong’o, Letitia Wright, Martin Freeman, Angela Bassett, Winston Duke, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya and Florence Kasumba.
“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” is scheduled to release in theaters on November 11, 2022.
