Clé Bennett Joins Cast of ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’

Looks like Clé Bennett has joined the cast of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Earlier this week, Sebastian Stan, who plays the Winter Soldier in the series, posted a picture of himself with Anthony Mackie (The Falcon), Wyatt Russell (John Walker), and Clé Bennett. Although, it hasn’t been announced who Bennett is playing, there is much speculation that he will portray Battlestar, aka Lemar Hoskins.  In case you aren’t familiar with the Battlestar character, Lamar Hoskins was once a wrestler who was given superhuman strength by the Power Broker. After being given superhuman strength he joined a team called the Bold Urban Commandos, who teamed up with the Super-Patriot John Walker, aka the new Captain America, who is being played by Wyatt Russell in the series.

Clé Bennett has most recently starred in two Amazon shows: the second season of The Tick and the final season of The Man in the High Castle.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier just finished filming in Atlanta.  Little is known about the plot except the events in the new series will follow the events of Avengers: Endgame.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is set to stream exclusively on Disney+ in August 2020.
