Daisy Ridley is reportedly in talks to return to the Star Wars franchise. The news comes from Giant Freakin Robot who says it’s unclear how sizable of a role her return will hold or if it’s a brand new project or something we already know about. In either case, they report she is definitely in negotiations about returning as Rey in the near future.
It’s possible Ridley could return in an upcoming Star Wars theatrical film or possibly one of the multiple Star Wars projects in the works for Disney+, perhaps even an animated show.
Ridley portrayed the character Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Star Wars, The Last Jedi, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker which concluded the Skywalker Saga and the sequel trilogy.
