‘Deadpool 3’ Filming Details Reportedly Revealed

Last September, Ryan Reynolds announced that Disney/Marvel’s “Deadpool 3” will release on September 6, 2024 and shortly thereafter Marvel pushed the release date back to November 8, 2024.

Not much is known about the third film but Hugh Jackman has been confirmed to return as Wolverine.

Reynolds recently shared that filming for “Deadpool 3” would begin right before summer and director Shawn Levy has confirmed that production timeline.

Midgard Times has provided more definitive details regarding filming on the project reporting, Deadpool 3 is set to kick-off filming on May 22, 2023, in London, UK at Pinewood Studios, this is where Marvel Studios and Disney shoot most of their titles. A second unit filming will also take place in Vancouver, BC, Canada, for which the dates are yet to be revealed (it may happen parallelly), this shoot will generally include outdoor shoots and the leading cast may get involved for a few days, but nothing is confirmed yet. The filming is expected to wrap sometime in October (tentative).

In “Deadpool 3,” a weary Wolverine finds himself recovering from his injuries when he comes across a loudmouth Deadpool who has time travelled forward to heal his greatest pal in the hopes to befriend the wild beast and to team up to take down a foe they both have in common

Emma Corrin was recently confirmed to join Reynolds and Jackman in the film.

Recent rumors indicate Owen Wilson will reprise his “Loki” role as Time Variance Authority Agent Mobius in “Deadpool 3” however nothing has been confirmed.

“Deadpool,” “Deadpool 2” and Season 1 of “Loki” are available to stream now on Disney+.  The second season of “Loki” will arrive on Disney+ in Summer 2023.
