Disney+ has announced they plan to launch in eight more European countries on Sept. 15.
The new territories include Portugal, Belgium, Finland, Iceland, Luxembourg, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. The service is currently available in the U.K., Ireland, France, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Spain.

In May, Disney+ revealed that had reached 54.5M subscribers after launching in November last year. It is projected to have 60-90M subs worldwide by 2024 and is due to spend more than $1BN on original content in 2020, increasing to $2.5BN by 2024.
