What Parental Controls Does Disney+ Support?

All Disney+ subscribers have the option to make all or some profiles a kid profile. A kid profile will only display titles rated TV-7FV and G in the United States. However, based on local ratings and cultural sensitivities, some titles may be inaccessible, and some additional titles with a rating equivalent to PG in the United States may be accessible on a region by region basis.

To set up a Kids Profile, follow these steps:

Web Browser

  1. In your web browser, go to www.disneyplus.com
  2. Log in.
  3. Click your profile from the top navigation bar.
  4. Click Edit Profiles.
  5. You will be presented with a list of available profiles.
  6. Select the profile you want to change.
  7. Enable Kids Profile by moving the slider.
  8. Click Save.

Mobile Device

  1. On your Mobile device, open the Disney+ App.
  2. Log in.
  3. Select the profile icon from the bottom navigation bar.
  4. Select Edit Profiles.
  5. You will be presented with a list of available profiles.
  6. Select the profile you want to change.
  7. Enable Kids Profile by moving the slider.
  8. Select Save.

Apple TV

  1. On your Apple TV, open the Disney+ App.
  2. Log in.
  3. Select Settings tab from the left-hand navigation bar.
  4. Select Profile.
  5. Select Edit Profiles.
  6. You will be presented with a list of available profiles.
  7. Enable Kids Profile by moving the slider.
  8. Select Save.

PlayStation 4/Xbox One

  1. On your PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, open the Disney+ App.
  2. Log in.
  3. Select the Settings to tab from the left-hand navigation bar.
  4. Select Profile.
  5. Select Edit Profiles.
  6. You will be presented with a list of available profiles.
  7. Select the profile you want to change.
  8. Enable Kids Profile by moving the slider.
  9. Select Save.
