Disney won a total number of 5 Oscars during the 93rd Academy Awards ceremony last night.
Two Oscars were earned for the animated Disney/Pixar hit “Soul” and three for Disney Searchlight’s “Nomadland,” which is now streaming on Hulu and on Disney+ in select regions beginning April 30.
Disney/Pixar’s “Soul,” won for “Best Animated Feature” and “Best Original Score” (Jon Batiste, Trent Reznor, and Atticus Ross).
“Nomadland” won for Best Director (Chloe Zhao), Best Actress (Frances McDormand), and Best Picture.
