The classic 1950 Disney animated musical film “Cinderella” is coming to 4K Ultra-HD on March 28th as a Disney Movie Club Exclusive. The set includes a 4K, DVD, Blu-Ray and digital code. Disney Movie Club members who pre-order this set, will also receive a special lithograph.
Walt Disney’s “Cinderella,” based on the world’s greatest fairy tale, has captivated audiences for generations with its spellbinding story, memorable music, spectacular animation, and unforgettable characters. With a wave of her wand and some “Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo” Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother transforms an ordinary pumpkin into a magnificent coach and Cinderella’s rags into a gorgeous gown, then sends her off to the Royal Ball. But Cinderella’s enchanted evening must end when the spell is broken at midnight. It will take the help of her daring animal friends Jaq and Gus and a perfect fit into a glass slipper to create the ultimate fairy tale ending. Experience the magic of Cinderella and you, too, will believe that dreams really do come true.
The bonus features advertised match the contents of the Diamond Edition Blu-Ray release, although it’s more likely that the supplemental features will be identical to the Walt Disney Signature Collection release. The bonus features mentioned in the Disney Movie Club listing include the following:
- Tangled Ever After Animated Short
- Alternate Opening Sequence
- Gag Reel & Deleted Scenes
- Personalized Digital Storybook: Bibbidi-Bobbidi-You — A Disney Second Screen Experience
- Behind The Magic: A New Disney Princess Fantasyland

I do remember I once had Cinderella on video cassette as a 90’s kid and it also had Basil the Great Mouse Detective, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Mary Poppins and Pete’s Dragon with it as well and first was the trailer for Basil the Great Mouse Detective, then the trailers for Mary Poppins, Bedknobs and Broomsticks and Pete’s Dragon and then The Prince and the Pauper trailer, then the Beauty and the Beast trailer and then the Euro Disneyland Paris trailer and finally at the end was Colonel Hathi’s March from Sing Along Songs You Can Fly.
