Disney has released a sneak peek at “The Ghastly Ghoul” which will be coming to the Disney Channel in the United States to celebrate the Halloween season. A Disney+ release date has not been announced but the special will be available to stream on DisneyNOW.
Every year, the monsters from Halloween World come to Earth for one glorious night of mischief before the gateway back to their world closes again. Gary, a cute little monster that doesn’t believe he’s scary enough, disguises himself as The Ghastly Ghoul. When he misses the gateway back home, he is trapped in the human world. Gary and Beatrix, who is struggling with her own insecurities, together help inspire self-belief in one another and try to find a way to get Gary home again in a Halloween night filled with magic and adventure.
