DuckTales Season 3 Coming To Disney+

Disney has announced that the third season of ‘DuckTales’ will be coming to Disney+ in the United States on Friday, April 30. The final episode from season three and the final episode ever, just aired in the United States earlier this week.

In the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand the wait will be even shorter as season three arrives on Friday, March 19, 2021. The wait is shorter in these countries due to Disney Channel no longer being available with Disney+ the only option to consume Disney Channel shows.

The new “DuckTales” series arrived on Disney XD in 2017.  The show was a reboot of the popular Disney Afternoon series which originally ran from 1987 to 1990.  The animated comedy-adventure series chronicles the high-flying adventures of Duckburg’s most famous trillionaire Scrooge McDuck; his mischief-making triplet grandnephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie; temperamental nephew, Donald Duck; and the trusted McDuck Manor team: big-hearted, fearless chauffer/pilot Launchpad McQuack, no-nonsense housekeeper Mrs. Beakley and Mrs. Beakley’s granddaughter, Webby Vanderquack, resident adventurer and the triplet’s fierce friend.

“DuckTales” stars David Tennant (“Doctor Who”) as Scrooge McDuck, Danny Pudi (“Community”) as Huey, Ben Schwartz (“Parks and Recreation”) as Dewey, Bobby Moynihan (“Saturday Night Live”) as Louie, Kate Micucci (“Garfunkel and Oates”) as Webby Vanderquack, Beck Bennett (“Saturday Night Live”) as Launchpad McQuack, Toks Olagundoye (“Castle”) as Mrs. Beakley, Disney Legend Tony Anselmo as Donald Duck, and Paget Brewster (“Criminal Minds”) as Della Duck, Donald Duck’s twin sister and the nephews’ mother.

Disney didn’t renew ‘DuckTales’ beyond season 3 and the show was officially cancelled back in December.
