Marvel Studios’ latest Disney+ series, Loki, is set to hit Disney+ on Wednesday, June 09, 2021.
Marvel Studios’ “Loki” features the God of Mischief as he steps out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.” Tom Hiddleston returns as the title character, joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. Kate Herron directs “Loki,” and Michael Waldron is head writer.
In typical Marvel fashion, details of the upcoming series have been kept under wraps. We do know that the series will consist of 6 episodes, the same as The Falcon and The Winter Solider, but the episode length hasn’t been revealed until now.
The first episode has a runtime of 51 minutes while the second episode clocks in at 54 minutes. Both of these runtimes do include credits.
In comparison to WandaVision, the runtime of the first episode of Loki is similar to the show’s finale, clocking in at 51 minutes. For context, WandaVision‘s finale is the show’s longest episode.
