Everything Pixar That’s Coming To Disney+ In 2022

Pixar released multiple shows and movies on Disney+ In 2022 including Luca, Dug Days, and more. 2022 is set to be another exciting year ahead for Pixar fans!

It’s important to note that this list might change with possibly even more announcements later in the year. While there are plenty of rumours, this list is only for confirmed 2022 Pixar content.

Here is a rundown of everything Pixar coming to Disney+ in 2022.

Turning Red

Disney and Pixar’s “Turning Red” introduces Mei Lee (voice of Rosalie Chiang), a confident, dorky 13-year-old torn between staying her mother’s dutiful daughter and the chaos of adolescence. Her protective, if not slightly overbearing mother, Ming (voice of Sandra Oh), is never far from her daughter—an unfortunate reality for the teenager. And as if changes to her interests, relationships and body weren’t enough, whenever she gets too excited (which is practically ALWAYS), she “poofs” into a giant red panda!

“Turning Red will be released in theaters on March 11th, 2022. The movie is expected to arrive on Disney+ a few months later. 

Turning Red (behind-the-scenes documentary)

A currently untitled behind-the-scenes documentary of the making of “Turning Red” will be coming to Disney+ sometime in 2022.


The sci-fi action-adventure presents the definitive origin story of Buzz Lightyear—the hero who inspired the toy—introducing the legendary Space Ranger who would win generations of fans.

“Lightyear” launches into theaters on June 17, 2022. The movie should arrive on Disney+ a few months later in 2022.

Cars on the Road

Owen Wilson and Larry the Cable Guy return to voice Lightning McQueen and Mater in the series.  Additional cast includes Cristela Alonzo as Cruz Ramirez, Paul Dooley as Sarge, Cheech Marin as Ramone, and Bret Iwan (the current voice of Mickey Mouse) as Bobby Swift’s Crew Chief and Tony. Rounding out the cast is Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Richard Petty, Billy Ray Cyrus, Vincent Martella, Mitchell Musso, Bob Peterson, and Corbin Bleu.

Cars on the Road will be released sometime in 2022.

It’s also possible in 2022 that we’ll get further shorts, series and movies that haven’t been announced yet.
