Everything Star Wars Coming To Disney+ In 2023

Lucasfilm didn’t disappoint with Star Wars series in 2022 with highlights including The Book Of Boba Fett, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Andor.

2023 is set to be an even bigger year for Star Wars fans! We’ll be seeing three shows returning for another season, and three brand new shows debuting on Disney+.


Star Wars Shows Coming In 2023

It’s important to note that this list might change, and it’s likely further content will also be announced. While there are plenty of rumors, this list is only for confirmed 2023 Star Wars content.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch – Season 2

When the new season opens, months have passed since the events on Kamino, and the Bad Batch continues their journey navigating the Empire after the fall of the Republic. They will cross paths with friends and foes, both new and familiar, as they take on a variety of thrilling mercenary missions that will take them to unexpected and dangerous new places.

Release Date: The animated series is returning in early 2023 with the first two episodes being released on Wednesday, January 04, 2023.


Star Wars: The Mandalorian – Season 3

The eight-episode third season will follow the continuing adventures of the masked warrior and his Force-sensitive charge.

Release Date: The third season will premiere on Disney+ on Wednesday, March 1, 2023.


Star Wars: Visions – Season 2

From the beginning, stories told in the Star Wars galaxy have counted Japanese mythology and the films of Akira Kurosawa among their many influences, and these new visions will further explore that cultural heritage through the unique animation style and perspective of each anime studio.

Release Date: ‘Star Wars: Visions’ will be returning for a second volume on Disney+ in Spring 2023.


Star Wars: Ahsoka

In “Ahsoka” Tano (Rosario Dawson) is on the hunt for the evil Grand Admiral Thrawn in the hope it will help her locate the missing Ezra Bridger, the young Jedi that disappeared with Thrawn many years ago. Based on characters from the “Star Wars” franchise. A spinoff of the TV series “The Mandalorian.”

Release Date: No exact release date for “Star Wars: Ahsoka” has been announced, but we expect to see it in the second half of 2023.


Star Wars: Skeleton Crew

The show takes place during the post–’Return of the Jedi’ reconstruction that follows the fall of the Empire, the same as ‘The Mandalorian,’ but its plot remains a secret. Inside Lucasfilm, the show is being described as a galactic version of classic Amblin coming-of-age adventure films of the ’80s.

Release Date: No Disney+ release date other than 2023 has been announced at this time.


Young Jedi Adventures

Set during the High Republic era, “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” will follow a group of Younglings as they embark on missions where they will help people in need, discover exotic creatures, clash with villainous pirates, train with their masters, and ultimately learn the valuable skills needed in order to become Jedi: compassion, self-discipline, teamwork, patience and friendship.
