Everything That’s Been Removed From Disney+ In September (2021)

At the beginning of each month, Disney will often remove certain titles from Disney+ due to existing contracts. September 2021 will continue that trend as multiple titles have been removed from Disney+ in the United States.

The removals came as a surprise since Disney+ does not announce which titles will be leaving every month like other streaming services such as Netflix and Hulu.


“Chadwick Boseman: A Tribute For A King – A Special Edition Of 20/20”

Disney has removed “Chadwick Boseman: A Tribute For A King – A Special Edition Of 20/20” from Disney+ in the United States.

The special originally aired on ABC on Sunday, August 30, which celebrated Boseman’s storied life, legacy and career and the cultural imprint he made on- and off-screen. Hosted by Robin Roberts, the program features tributes that have poured in from celebrities, political figures and fans across the world, special words from those who starred alongside him and knew Boseman best and shine a light on the medical condition he privately battled. “Dr. Dolittle 3” has been removed from Disney+ in the United States.

The film is expected to return to Disney+ when contracts expire that were made before The Walt Disney Company purchased 20th Century Fox.  In the meantime, you’ll be able to watch “Dr. Dolittle 3” on HBO Max. More Details.


‘Far From Home: The Adventures Of Yellow Dog’

“Far From Home: The Adventures Of Yellow Dog” has been removed from Disney+ in the United States.

The film is expected to return to Disney+ when contracts expire that were made before The Walt Disney Company purchased 20th Century Fox.  In the meantime, you’ll be able to watch “Far From Home: The Adventures Of Yellow Dog” on Starz. More Details.

“Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters” has been removed from Disney+ in the United States.

“Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters” will be moving to HBO Max October 1st. According to dejaviewstream, the earliest we can expect the movie to return will be early 2023.

Everyone’s Hero

“Everyone’s Hero” (2006) has been removed from Disney+ in the United States.

The film is expected to return to Disney+ when contracts expire that were made before The Walt Disney Company purchased 20th Century Fox.  In the meantime, it appears the movie will be moving to Starz for a year.
