Disney+ is launching in only a few select countries and thankfully Australia is included. Here’s everything we know about Disney+ coming to Australia.
When will Disney+ Launch in Australia?
The Australian and New Zealand markets will get access to Disney+ on November 19, 2019, a week after the streaming service launches in the US, Canada and the Netherlands.
How much will Disney+ cost in Australia?
Disney+ will come in at $8.99/month (AUD).
Can I pre-register like the US?
Not at this time, at least. This is only available to the US. No word if Australia will have this option prior to Disney+ launching.
Which devices will Disney+ support?
At launch, Disney+ will be available for use through PC and mobile web browsers, apps on Apple iOS devices and Apple TV, Android mobile devices and Android TV, Chromecast, Roku devices, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
Disney+ will not support Amazon devices like Amazon Fire TV at launch.
Will the content be the same as the US?
We’re still not 100 % certain whether the Australian library will mirror the US at launch, however if it does, then expect a whopping 500 movies and 7,000 TV show episodes to enjoy.
