Today, Disney released the first trailer for the live-action Mulan film which will premiere on Disney+ on Friday, September 4th on a “premium basis”. Subscribers will be able to rent Mulan for $29.99 and will have access to the film for as long as they are subscribed to the streaming service. It’s worth noting that the trailer wasn’t shared on Disney+ UK social media which further suggests that the movie may not be coming to the UK on Disney+.

The film is directed by Niki Caro from a screenplay by Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver and Elizabeth Martin & Lauren Hynek based on the narrative poem “The Ballad of Mulan.”
