First look At Jinx Monsoon, Ncuti Gatwa & Millie Gibson in ‘Doctor Who’

Filming is currently underway for the new “Doctor Who” series and  BBC has unveiled a new look at stars Ncuti Gatwa’s 15th Doctor with companion Ruby (Millie Gibson).  The first look images were shared on social media which you can see below:

BBC also unveiled a first-look of RuPaul’s Drag Race icon Jinx Monsoon, who will play a villain in the highly-anticipated upcoming season. You can see that tweet below:

“Doctor Who” returns in November 2023 with three special episodes with David Tennant as the Fourteenth Doctor to coincide with the 60th anniversary. Ncuti Gatwa’s first episode as the Fifteenth Doctor will then air over the festive period.

Previously announced cast includes Catherine Tate, Yasmin Finney,  Neil Patrick Harris, Jacqueline King, Karl Collins and Ruth Madeley.

Recently announced cast includes Jemma Redgrave and Anuerin Barnard. Jemma Redgrave will return as Kate Lethbridge-Stewart, as will UNIT, the organization that seeks to defend Earth from extraterrestrial threats.  Aneurin Barnard joins the series as Roger ap Gwilliam.  Anita Dobson  (EastEnders) and Michelle Greenidge  (Venom: Let There Be Carnage) have also boarded the cast.

Last October, it was announced that the BBC and Disney Branded Television – two giants of entertainment – have come together to transform Doctor Who into a global franchise.  Doctor Who will exclusively be available on the streaming service Disney+ outside of the U.K. and Ireland. The show will remain on the BBC in the UK.
