First Look: What’s Coming To Disney+ In June (UK/Ireland)

Here is a first look at what’s coming to Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Most notably is the premiere of “Loki” on June 9th, the release of Pixar’s “Luca” on the 18th, and season two of ‘Love, Victor’ on June 18th.

We’ll update this list throughout the month when Disney announces new titles coming in June. Please note: This list isn’t complete and more will be announced later this month.


FRIDAY, JUNE 4, 2021

RAYA AND THE LAST DRAGON (Free access for all)

“Raya and the Last Dragon” takes us on an exciting, epic journey to the fantasy world of Kumandra, where humans and dragons lived together long ago in harmony. But when an evil force threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, that same evil has returned and it’s up to a lone warrior, Raya, to track down the legendary last dragon to restore the fractured land and its divided people. However, along her journey, she’ll learn that it’ll take more than a dragon to save the world—it’s going to take trust and teamwork as well.


HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL: THE MUSICAL: THE SERIES – SEASON 2 – EPISODE 4

In season two, the East High Wildcats, who are preparing to perform “Beauty and the Beast” as their spring musical, face off against rival school North High to win a prestigious and cutthroat student theater competition. Wigs are snatched, loyalties are tested, and ballads are belted. The season also features brand-new solos written by Olivia Rodrigo and Joshua Bassett.


BIG SHOT – EPISODE 8

After getting ousted from the NCAA, a hothead men’s basketball coach must take a job at an all-girls high school. He soon learns that teenage girls are more than just X’s and O’s; they require empathy and vulnerability — foreign concepts for the stoic Coach Korn (John Stamos). By learning how to connect with his players, Marvyn starts to grow into the person he’s always hoped to be. The girls learn to take themselves more seriously, finding their footing both on and off the court.


STAR WARS: THE BAD BATCH – EPISODE 6

Star Wars: The Bad Batch” follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in “The Clone Wars”) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. Members of Bad Batch—a unique squad of clones who vary genetically from their brothers in the Clone Army—each possess a singular exceptional skill that makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew.


Genius: Aretha – Episode 1 – RESPECT

Desperate for a hit, Aretha travels to Muscle Shoals in 1967 to record her first album with Atlantic Records. After suffering the loss of her surrogate mother, Little Re braves her first solo in 1953, in her father’s, CL Franklin, church.


Filthy Rich – Episode 9

The entire Monreaux family must use every resource at their disposal in the search for Antonio’s son; Jason finally comes clean about his deceptions; Margaret makes a huge discovery about the plane crash and her family’s history.


Grown-Ish – Season 3 – Episode 6

Aaron’s student loan troubles come to a head when he looks for a job at the Cal U job fair, which leads him to ask Zoey for her help in getting a job working for her dad at Stevens & Lido. Meanwhile, Sky struggles to come to terms with her recent discovery about Rodney. Jillian tries to bond with Zoey.


Rebel – Episode 2

Blindsided and upset by Grady’s sudden change of heart, Rebel proceeds to help Cruz build their case against Stonemore and enlists Lana’s assistance to convince a former patient to aid in their case. Meanwhile, Cassidy shares surprising news with Cruz who is simultaneously dealing with trauma from his own past. Elsewhere, Nate tries to prove Rebel wrong and recruits a colleague to help with his heart valve study.


Big Sky – Episode 12

Cassie and Jenny each face a dangerous attempt to run them out of town while Jerrie has a close encounter with a dangerous threat of her own. Back at the ranch, Blake returns home, where he receives anything but a warm welcome. This ain’t your typical family reunion.


M.O.D.O.K – Episode 3

Luca

Love, Victor – Season 2 – Episode 1

Series two picks up with a newly out-of-the-closet Victor (Michael Cimino) entering his junior year at Creekwood High.
