First Look: What’s Coming to Disney+ in November (UK/IRE)

Here is a first look at what’s coming to Disney+ in the United Kingdom in November 2021.

Marvel’s highly anticipated “Hawkeye” series will debut on November 24th. “Home Sweet Home Alone,” the Home Alone reboot, premieres on November 12th, on that same day, “Jungle Cruise” will be free for all Disney+ subscribers and “Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” makes its debut on the streamer.  “The Beatles: Get Back,” a Disney+ Original documentary series directed by Peter Jackson, will roll out over three days, November 25, 26, and 27th.  New episodes will also continue to be released for “Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.” and more.

We’ll update this list throughout the month when Disney announces new titles coming in November. Please note: This list isn’t complete and more will be announced in October.

‘Doogie Kamealoha M.D.’ – Episode 9

“Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.” – a coming-of-age dramedy inspired by the hit medical series “Doogie Howser, M.D.” – follows Lahela “Doogie” Kamealoha, a 16-year-old prodigy juggling a budding medical career and life as a teenager. With the support of her caring and comical ‘ohana (family) and friends, Lahela is determined to make the most of her teenage years and forge her own path.

Guiding Lahela (and also complicating things) is her career-driven mother Dr. Clara Hannon who’s also her supervisor at the hospital, her doting father Benny who helps keep her connected to what matters most, her free-spirited older brother Kai, her gregarious younger brother Brian Patrick, her best friend Steph, her surfer crush Walter and her fellow hospital colleagues, Dr. Lee, Charles and Noelani.


Last Man Standing – Season 9 – Episode 15

 

Mike and Vanessa help Mandy and Kyle with their estate planning, but are disappointed with whom they plan to appoint as Sarah’s legal guardian. Meanwhile, Jen begins working at OutdoorMan and takes advice from Chuck a tad too seriously.


American Dad – Season 17 – Episode 18

Hayley and Jeff help one of Roger’s personas run a solar company.


Reservation Dogs Season 1 Episode 5

Cheese goes on a ride along with Big.


Bless The Harts – Season 2 – Episode 13

Y: The Last Man – Episode 9

Based on DC Comics’ acclaimed series by Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra, Y: The Last Man traverses a post-apocalyptic world in which a cataclysmic event decimates every mammal with a Y chromosome but for one cisgender man and his pet monkey. The series follows the survivors in this new world as they struggle with their efforts to restore what was lost and the opportunity to build something better.


Mixed-ish – Season 1 – Episode 12

Rainbow wants to battle stereotypes at school after she joins the track team and feels like her friends only see her skin color; Santamonica tries to be cool enough to hang out with Rainbow’s friends.


The Great North – Season 1 – Episode 7

Judy asks Alyson for help with an art project at school; the family searches for the truth behind a story about Beef in the local paper.


American Horror Story – Double Feature – Episode 3

Harry’s newfound talent brings an unexpected visitor to town. Alma decides to take matters into her own hands.


Family Guy – Season 20 – Episode 1

“Family Guy”  follows the adventures of an eccentric family living in New England and continues to entertain its cult fan base with razor-sharp humour, spot-on parodies, spectacular animation and orchestra-backed original music. Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

“Shang-Chi” follows the title character who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization.

The film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and produced by Kevin Feige and Jonathan Schwartz, with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, and Charles Newirth serving as executive producers. David Callaham & Destin Daniel Cretton & Andrew Lanham wrote the screenplay for the film.

The movie stars Simu Liu, Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Shang-Chi’s friend Katy, and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan, as well as Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu, and Ronny Chieng.


Jungle Cruise – Available To All Disney+ Subscribers

Inspired by the famous Disneyland theme park ride, Disney’s Jungle Cruise is an adventure-filled, rollicking thrill-ride down the Amazon with wisecracking skipper Frank Wolff and intrepid researcher Dr. Lily Houghton. Lily travels from London, England to the Amazon jungle and enlists Frank’s questionable services to guide her downriver on La Quila—his ramshackle-but-charming boat. Lily is determined to uncover an ancient tree with unparalleled healing abilities—possessing the power to change the future of medicine. Thrust on this epic quest together, the unlikely duo encounters innumerable dangers and supernatural forces, all lurking in the deceptive beauty of the lush rainforest. But as the secrets of the lost tree unfold, the stakes reach even higher for Lily and Frank and their fate—and mankind’s—hangs in the balance. 

Jaume Collet-Serra directs the film, which stars Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Edgar Ramírez and Jack Whitehall, with Jesse Plemons, and Paul Giamatti.

Home Sweet Home Alone – Premiere

Max Mercer is a mischievous and resourceful young boy who has been left behind while his family is in Japan for the holidays. The documentary showcases the warmth, camaraderie and creative genius that defined the legacy of the iconic foursome, compiled from over 60 hours of unseen footage shot in January 1969 (by Michael Lindsay-Hogg) and more than 150 hours of unheard audio, all of which has been brilliantly restored.Jackson is the only person in 50 years to have been given access to these private film archives. “The Beatles: Get Back” is the story of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr as they plan their first live show in over two years, capturing the writing and rehearsing of 14 new songs, originally intended for release on an accompanying live album. The documentary features – for the first time in its entirety – The Beatles’ last live performance as a group, the unforgettable rooftop concert on London’s Savile Row, as well as other songs and classic compositions featured on the band’s final two albums, Abbey Road and Let It Be.
