20th Century Studios’ “Free Guy” will be coming to Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland on Wednesday, September 29th. The film will also be released in Australia and New Zealand on the same day.
“Free Guy” will take a little longer to arrive on Disney+ in the United States. The film will head to HBO Max first to fulfill its pay one window. It’s likely it could take a minimum of 18 months before “Free Guy” can contractually be added to Disney+.
In the meantime, US consumers can get their hands on “Free Guy” when it arrives on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on Oct. 12th. Bonus features include never-before-seen footage including two deleted scenes, an extended scene, bloopers and making-of featurettes.
In Twentieth Century Studio’s epic adventure-comedy “Free Guy,” a bank teller who discovers he is actually a background player in an open-world video game decides to become the hero of his own story…one he rewrites himself.
