“Myth: A Frozen Tale” is a VR short film which was released during the premiere of Disney’s “Frozen 2” in 2019.  The cutting edge film which was ultimately based on “Frozen 2” will be coming to Disney+ in a flat format on Friday, February 26th.

“Myth: A Frozen Tale” features dialog by Evan Rachel Wood (Queen Iduna) and is directed by Jeff Gipson.  The short is structured like a bedtime story and immerses viewers in the world of “Frozen 2” with a journey through Arendelle lore that blends traditional hand-drawn animation with the latest in VR technology. A seemingly ordinary story transforms into a beautiful world, where the elemental spirits of Air, Fire, Water, and Earth reveal themselves through a whirlwind of 2D hand drawn effects, 3D animation, and original music.
