FX’s ‘The Bear’ Disney+ Release Date Announced (Australia/New Zealand)

Disney has announced that all eight episodes of the restaurant comedy “The Bear” will release on Disney+ in Australia and New Zealand on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. The series is currently streaming on Hulu in the US and arrives on Disney+ in Canada on Wednesday, August 3, 2022.  We expect the series to also arrive on Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland however a release date for this region has not been announced yet.

FX’s new comedy series “The Bear” is about food, family, the insanity of the grind, the beauty of Sense of Urgency and the steep slippery downsides. As the young chef Carmy fights to transform both The Original Beef of Chicagoland and himself, he works alongside a rough-around-the-edges kitchen crew that ultimately reveal themselves as his chosen family.

Jeremy Allen White (Shameless) will play the role of the chef.   The series also stars Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce, Abby Elliott, and Liza Colón-Zayas, with Edwin Gibson and Matty Matheson in recurring roles.

Christopher Storer wrote and directed the pilot. He will also executive produce with Hiro Murai and Nate Matteson of Super Frog, Joanna Calo, and Josh Senior. Matty Matheson is a consulting producer.
