FX’s new comedy series “The Bear” is about food, family, the insanity of the grind, the beauty of Sense of Urgency and the steep slippery downsides. As the young chef Carmy fights to transform both The Original Beef of Chicagoland and himself, he works alongside a rough-around-the-edges kitchen crew that ultimately reveal themselves as his chosen family.
Jeremy Allen White (Shameless) will play the role of the chef. The series also stars Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce, Abby Elliott, and Liza Colón-Zayas, with Edwin Gibson and Matty Matheson in recurring roles.
Christopher Storer wrote and directed the pilot. He will also executive produce with Hiro Murai and Nate Matteson of Super Frog, Joanna Calo, and Josh Senior. Matty Matheson is a consulting producer.
FX Productions will produce.
We also expect to see “The Bear” release on Disney+ in other regions however those dates have not been announced yet.
