The Wrap has revealed a first-look image at Disney’s live-action “Goosebumps” series inspired by R.L. Stine’s well-known books. The 10-episode series will be coming to Disney+ in October 2023, however, an exact date has not been announced yet.
The series follows a group of five high schoolers who unleash supernatural forces upon their town and must all work together – thanks to and in spite of their friendships, rivalries, and pasts with each other – in order to save it, learning much about their own parents’ teenage secrets in the process.
Previously announced cast members include Ana Yi Puig, Miles McKenna, Rob Huebel, Will Price, Zack Morris, Rachael Harris, and Isa Briones as well as Justin Long.

According to Deadline, the upcoming coming series could stream on Hulu in addition to Disney+. Before year’s end, Hulu content is set to become directly accessible through Disney+, in anticipation of a future complete merger. This practice of sharing content not only prepares subscribers for this integration but also allows Disney to expose the show to a broader audience across both platforms. Additionally, distributing the show on both Disney+ and Hulu could enable Disney to allocate the production costs across various divisions within the company.
