Marvel’s new “Helstrom” series has been officially canceled by Hulu. The show just premiered its first season of 10 episodes on October 16, 2020, during the streaming service’s “Huluween” event.
“Helstrom” was the last live-action show produced by the Marvel Television unit under Jeph Loeb. Marvel Television formally launched in June 2010 and put into development a number of series including “Jessica Jones,” “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” “Legion,” and “Cloak & Dagger.”
As the son and daughter of a mysterious and powerful serial killer, Helstrom follows Daimon (Tom Austen) and Ana Helstrom (Sydney Lemmon), and their complicated dynamic, as they track down the worst of humanity — each with their own attitude and skills.
