Hulu has announced a summer release date for “Solar Opposites” Season 3. All 11 episodes from the third season will launch on Hulu on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. Season 3 will also be coming to Star+ and Disney+ internationally including Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom and Ireland however a release date for those regions has not been announced yet.
Co-created by Justin Roiland (Rick and Morty) and Mike McMahan (Rick and Morty), Solar Opposites centers around a team of four aliens who escape their exploding home world only to crash land into a move-in ready home in suburban America. They are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome. Korvo (Justin Roiland) and Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone) only see the pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty while Terry (Thomas Middleditch) and Jesse (Mary Mack) love humans and all their TV, junk food and fun stuff. Their mission: protect the Pupa, a living super computer that will one day evolve into its true form, consume them and terraform the Earth.
The series is executive produced by Roiland, McMahan and Josh Bycel and produced by 20th Television Animation.
The first two seasons of “Solar Opposites” are available to stream now on Hulu in the US, Star+ in Latin America and Disney+ internationally. The series has already been renewed for Season 4 ahead of the Season 3 premiere.
