Disney/Marvel actor Idris Elba is the latest celebrity to test positive for the COVID-19 virus.
Elba shared the news in a video on Twitter which you can see below. He reassured everyone that he was symptom-free so far and there was no reason to panic.
This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing ???? No panic. pic.twitter.com/Lg7HVMZglZ

Disney fans know Idris as the voice of Chief Bogo in Zootopia, Shere Khan in Jon Favreau’s The Jungle Book, and one of the two sealions in Finding Dory. Marvel fans recognize the actor as the gatekeeper Heimdall in Thor, Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok, and Avengers: Infinity War.
Another Disney actor Tom Hanks recently announced that he and his wife Rita Wilson, were both infected while in Australia. The two are doing fine and were just released from the hospital where they are now being quarantined in a rental property.
