Season 2 of the Latin American Disney+ Original series “Intertwined” debuted on Disney+ globally in May 2023. All episodes from both seasons are available to stream now on Disney+.
In “Intertwined” Allegra dreams of joining the Eleven O’ Clock music hall company to be the protagonist of “Freaky Friday,” the play that made her grandma famous many years ago. Her grandmother, Cocó, is a living legend of the musical theater and has a complicated relationship with Caterina, Allegra’s mother. Allegra’s life changes drastically when she finds a mysterious bracelet at home. The bracelet takes her to 1994, the year Caterina was her age and was starting her career in Eleven O’ Clock while she lived in Coco’s shadow (Cocó was a star at the peak of her career by then). Will Allegra be able to change the past?
In the second season of “Disney Intertwined,” Marco gets to travel through time and transports from the ’90s straight into 2021, thanks to the bracelet. Fascinated by the new world he sees before his eyes; Marco is determined to remain in 2021 with Allegra. Meanwhile, the three women in the Sharp family – Cocó, Caterina and Allegra – receive an offer for their play, “Light Years,” that they can’t refuse, but they find that this project will be difficult to carry out because several past revelations from 1994 were never resolved. Marco, determined to help the Sharp women, also searches for answers as to why the bracelet took him to 2021 and learns that this magical object, that allows time travel, also carries an unknown danger.
The musical series sees the return of Carolina Domenech (“Allegra”), Elena Roger (“Cocó”), Clara Alonso (“Caterina”), José Giménez Zapiola “El Purre” (“Marco”) and Kevsho (“Félix”). Rounding up the cast of this new season are Santiago Achaga (“Franco” in the past), Antonia Bengoechea (“Amelia”), Rocío Hernández (“Paloma”), Agustina Benavidez (“Clara”), Rodrigo Pedreira (“Franco”), Beto de Carabassa (“Pedro” in the past), Miguel Habud (“Pedro”), Benjamín Amadeo (“Diego”), Regina Lamm (“Allegra”, Amelia’s grandmother), Betina O’Connell (“Lucía”) and Favio Posca (“Mike”) as special guest.

At the time of writing Intertwined has yet to be renewed for a third season by Disney. This isn’t surprising considering the show just landed on the streaming service.
Disney’s announcement of show renewals lacks a predictable pattern. Renewals can happen before the newest season airs, during the finale episode, or take months to be announced.
