According to Jeremy Renner’s Instagram story, Marvel’s upcoming Hawkeye series for Disney+ has officially wrapped filming principal photography.
“Last day, for now,” Renner wrote on a photo of himself which you can see below. “This is not goodbye, but a see you soon.”
Like most Marvel projects, plot details are being kept under wraps, but we do know Renner will return as Cliff Barton and the series will focus on Hawkeye passing the baton to Kate Bishop who is played by Hailee Steinfeld.
Hawkeye will also star Vera Farmiga as Eleanor Bishop, Fra Fee as The Clown, Tony Dalton as Swordsman, Alaqua Cox as Echo, Zahn McClarnon William Lopez, and Florence Pugh reprising her Black Widow role of Yelena Belova.
A premiere date for the Marvel series has not been set yet, but it is expected to debut on Disney+ sometime later this year.
