Murphy has previously worked on 28 Days Later..., Sunshine, Snatch, Kick-Ass, Millions, and Guess Who.
Tyler Bates has previously scored the first two Guardians of the Galaxy movies.
Returning cast for the third film includes Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista and Karen Gillan.
Filming on “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” is set to begin in November and will release in theaters on May 5, 2023.
