Josh Bonzie Joins Hulu Drama Series ‘Saint X’

Josh Bonzie (The Politician) has been cast for a lead role in the upcoming Hulu drama series “Saint X.”  The series is an adaptation of Alexis Schaitkin’s psychological drama novel of the same name.  Bonzie will star opposite Victoria Pedretti.

The series is described as a psychological drama told in multiple timelines and perspectives. It is about a young woman’s mysterious death during an idyllic Caribbean vacation and how it creates a traumatic ripple effect that eventually pulls her surviving sister into a dangerous pursuit of the truth.

According to Deadline, Bonzie will play Clive ‘Gogo’ Richardson’ who we meet as a shy and clumsy but warm-hearted 20-year old, and again decades later as a hardened, changed man.

The show has received an eight-episode order from Hulu. Leila Gerstein (The Handmaid’s Tale, Looking for Alaska) will pen the script and executive produce the adaptation. Dee Rees (Mudbound) is attached to direct and executive produce. Schaitkin, Stephen Williams, Anonymous Content, and DreamCrew Entertainment will also executive produce.

ABC Signature is the studio.

Bonzie most recently guest-starred as Randal on Ryan Murphy’s Netflix series The Politician and appeared on The Good Fight.
