The latest production report for Marvel’s “Blade” reboot suggested that the film was aiming to begin production on May 30th. That news was shared by industry insider Daniel Richtman last month.
Now, in a recent interview with EW, Marvel CEO Kevin Feige revealed, “Our director Yann [Demange] is down in Atlanta right now. Cameras roll in, like, the next 10 weeks or so.”

Mahershala Ali will play the iconic vampire hunter. Delroy Lindo (The Harder They Fall, Da 5 Bloods) and Aaron Pierre (M. Night Shyamalan’s Old) also star. Additionally, Milan Ray (The Wonder Years) has recently joined the cast along with Anthony Starr (The Boys) who will reportedly play the villain.
Yann Demange has been tapped to helm the film and Michael Starrbury is attached to write a new script.
Marvel Studios CEO Kevin Feige is producing.
Marvel’s “Blade” is currently scheduled to hit theaters on September 6, 2024.
