Kevin Feige Teases Marvel’s ‘Fantastic Four’ News Is Coming Soon

Marvel fans should be hearing some news about the studios’ “Fantastic Four” reboot soon.  While there have been many casting rumors surrounding the film, Disney or Marvel have not made any official casting announcements yet.

The news comes from a recent EW.com interview with Marvel CEO Kevin Feige who shared the following:

The only other one in terms of me personally and my 23-year history is the Fantastic Four. We sort of talked about mutants and that whole aspect to the Marvel world, but Fantastic Four is the foundation for everything that came after in the comics. There’s certainly been versions of it [on screen], but never inhabiting the storytelling of the MCU. And that’s something that is really exciting for us. People will start to hear more about that soon. We plan on that being a big pillar of the MCU going forward, just the way they’ve been in the comics for 50 or 60 years.

Not much is known about the “Fantastic Four” reboot except characters Reed Richards (Mister Fantastic), Sue Storm (Invisible Woman), Johnny Storm (Human Torch) and Ben Grimm (The Thing) will return.

Matt Shakman (WandaVision) is confirmed to direct “Fantastic Four.”  Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer are on board to write the script.

Moon Knight producers Grant Curtis and Nick Pepin will also serve as producers on the new “Fantastic Four” film along with Kevin Feige.

No official casting news has been announced yet.

Marvel’s “Fantastic Four” is scheduled to hit theaters on February 14, 2025.
