Kevin Kiner is composing the music for Lucasfilm’s upcoming Disney+ animated shorts series “Tales of the Jedi” which will release on Disney+ this fall. Kiner has previously worked on Narcos: Mexico, CSI: Miami, Making a Murderer, and Hell on Wheels. Kiner also has an extensive Star Wars resume having previously scored the Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Rebels and The Bad Batch.
Each animated story will feature different Jedi from the prequel era, such as Qui-Gon Jinn, Count Dooku and Ahsoka Tano. Liam Neeson will return as Qui-Gon Jinn, the Jedi Master he portrayed in The Phantom Menace, the first of the Star Wars prequel films.
The series is set to premiere sometime this fall, though no exact release date has been announced as of yet.
