Last night, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” star Letitia Wright spoke to Variety during the Golden Globes Pre-Show. When Variety chief correspondent Elizabeth Wagmeister asked, “When are we going to get ‘Black Panther 3’ greenlit?”
Wright responded with the following:
“I think it’s already in the works. You know, we just had a terrific two years of bringing it out and everybody coming together to support it. We need a little bit of a break, we need to regroup and [director] Ryan [Coogler] needs to get back into the lab, so it’s going to take a little while, but we’re really excited for you guys to see that.”
“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” has made $831 million worldwide since its November 11th release date. The film debuts on Disney+ on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.
