Disney is reportedly working on a live-action remake of Lilo & Stitch and will come exclusively to Disney+.
The movie is set to be filmed in Hawaii, of course, during the fall and will have a similar budget as “Lady and Tramp” live-action at $60 million.
Here is synopsis of the film:
The story is about the bond formed between a lonely human girl named Lilo and a dog-like alien named Stitch, who is engineered to be a force of destruction.
Chris Sanders is expected to return as the voice of Stitch and Mike Van Waes (The Crooked Man) has already wrote the script. The remake will be produced by Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich, who recently worked on Aladdin.
As this time, this is a rumour and no official word from Disney has been released.
