Loki and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness writer, Michael Waldron has reupped his deal with Disney and Marvel Studios and is launching a new feature film and TV production company, Anomaly Pictures, with his producing partner Adam Fasullo.
According to Deadline, Anomaly Pictures will operate under the belief that “popcorn entertainment can also be prestige entertainment, and at the heart of every project lies the question: What if this was good?” The two first worked together on the Straz series Heels.
Waldron is the creator, writer and executive producer of the Disney+ Original series Loki, which will return for a second season this year. Waldron also scribed the Doctor Strange sequel and was also recently tapped to pen Marvel’s Avengers: Secret Wars.
