‘Loki’ Season 2 Reportedly Already In Development

Marvel’s upcoming “Loki” series is set to debut in May on Disney+, and Season 2 may already be in development ahead of the shows Season 1 debut.  The reveal comes from Variety who reports that “Loki” showrunner, head writer, and executive producer, Michael Waldron has signed a large deal with Disney that would see him pen the script for Kevin Feige’s new Star Wars film as well as return for the second season of “Loki”. Waldron also wrote the upcoming Marvel Studios feature “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.”

The first season of “Loki” follows the God of Mischief as he steps out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.” Tom Hiddleston returns as the title character, joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. Kate Herron directs is director.
