‘Loki’ Season 2 Reportedly Wraps Filming

The second season of Marvel’s Disney+ Original series “Loki” has reportedly wrapped filming.

The news comes from several photos posted online from the crew stating that filming has wrapped as well as photos of wrap apparel appearing on social media.  You can see some of those posts below:

Season 1 of Marvel Studios’ “Loki” featured the God of Mischief as he steps out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.” Tom Hiddleston returns as the title character, joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant.

Tom Hiddleston is set to return as Loki.  Owen Wilson, who played Mobius in the first season of “Loki,” recently confirmed that his character would be returning for the second season.  Gugu Mbatha-Raw, who played Ravonna Renslayer in Season 1, also recently confirmed to GMA that she will be returning.  Rafael Casal (Blindspotting) has also recently been revealed to join Season 2 and Eugene Cordero is being upped to series regular.

Plot details for the second season are being kept under wraps. Eric Martin will serve as writer for all six episodes.  Moon Knight directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead have been tapped to co-direct a majority of the episodes for “Loki” Season 2.   Hiddleston and Michael Waldron, who wrote and served as showrunner in Season 1, will executive produce Season 2.

Composer Natalie Holt will return to compose the score for the second season.

“Loki” Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ in Summer 2023.
