Ludwig Göransson Wins Emmy for ‘The Mandalorian’ Music Composition

Composer Ludwig Göransson, has won his first Emmy for his work on “The Mandalorian”.  Ludwig won for Outstanding Music Composition for a Series (Original Dramatic Score). The win now puts Göransson just a Tony award away from EGOT status.

The composer has already won an Oscar and a Grammy for his work on the “Black Panther” soundtrack.

On the same night, “The Mandalorian” also earned an Emmy for Outstanding Stunt Coordination.

Earlier this week, “The Mandalorian” ended up taking home Emmy’s for special visual effects, sound editing, sound mixing, production design and cinematography.

The new series has garnered 15 overall nominations and is expected to take home more during tonight’s big ceremony.
