According to The Direct, M.O.D.O.K will be introduced to the MCU in a major role in “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.”
Jim Carrey was originally rumored to play the major Marvel villain in future MCU projects however The Direct reports that the comedy legend will not portray the character in the upcoming Ant-Man film. Since nothing has been officially announced by Marvel, we will treat this as a rumor for now.
Viewers were recently introduced to the AIM scientist megalomaniacal supervillain M.O.D.O.K in the Hulu/ Star Original animated series. The show featured George Tarleton AKA the Mechanized Organism Designed Only for Killing and was voiced by Patton Oswald.
Director Peyton Reed recently shared “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” has wrapped filming.
Paul Rudd (Ant-Man) and Evangeline Lilly (Wasp) return in “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania” with Kang the Conqueror, played by Jonathan Majors. Kathryn Newton joins the cast as Cassie Lang, while Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer return as Hope’s parents, Dr. Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne, respectively. Bill Murray is also rumored to appear in the film.
“Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” will release in theaters on July 28, 2023.
