Marvel Studios and Sony to Reportedly Develop Spider-Man 2099 for Disney+

A new rumor has surfaced about another Marvel series that is reportedly in development for Disney+.  This one comes from Mikey Sutton (via Bounding Into Comics), who suggests Sony and Marvel Studios will collaborate to develop a Spider-Man 2099 series for Disney+.

“Spider-Man is coming to television,” the scooper says. “It just won’t be Peter Parker.”

Sutton claims he received the news about the project via a phone call and if it is greenlit, Kevin Feige will be involved.

Sutton also admitted he knows “quite little” about the property and didn’t provide further details.

Disney+ has several other confirmed Marvel projects in active development including The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Loki, What If…?, Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, She-Hulk and the rumored Ironheart series.
