Marvel Studios Exploring Second Seasons for Several Disney+ Series

Since its launch in 2019, Disney+ has seen Marvel Studios release a total of eight live-action shows. However, only one of these, ‘Loki,’ has received a second season, which took almost two and a half years to materialize.

However, insider Daniel Richtman reports that Marvel Studios is currently considering second seasons for ‘Ms. Marvel,’ ‘Moon Knight,’ and ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’.

These series have been rumored for some time to receive second seasons. However, this is the first instance in a while where news about their potential second seasons has resurfaced.

Marvel recently revealed a revamped development approach, where showrunners will write pilots and show bibles instead of shooting entire series and then addressing issues in post-production with costly reshoots.

Additionally, Marvel Studios now aims to offer a blend of standalone stories, known as ‘Marvel Spotlight,’ and multiple-season series more in line with traditional TV formats.

This strategy aligns well with the continuation of shows like ‘Ms. Marvel,’ ‘Moon Knight,’ and ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,’ which have a more grounded feel akin to conventional television.

Marvel has yet to make any official announcements about second seasons for any of these shows. It’s also crucial to note that Daniel Richtman only mentioned ‘discussions,’ which should not be taken as a confirmation.
